BioMatter: Biomass and Biomaterials
BioMatter lab works at the interface of polymer science, physical chemistry, and biology.
The overall focus of the lab is to valorize biomass toward biomedical application through the fundamental understanding and development of biohybrid/bioinspired materials with a specific emphasis on biomaterials, tissue engineering.
While most of our target applications lie within tissue engineering, we also apply our engineered hydrogels/biomaterials in food, nutraceutical delivery, agricultural, and environmental applications.
